Reports Module

The Reports module is the business intelligence and audit suite of Netsocs Synergy.
It converts the platform's historical data into clear and actionable reports, enabling you to:

  • Investigate incidents.
  • Analyze trends.
  • Audit operations.
  • Generate compliance reports.

INFO
Unlike Dashboards, which focus on real-time data, reports are a tool for querying past information.

The module consists of two main tools:

  1. Dynamic Report Builder → For fully customized queries.
  2. Specialized Reports → Pre-formatted for specific business cases.

Available Report Types

Dynamic Report Builder

The most flexible tool in the module.
Allows you to build a report from scratch by configuring parameters in the left panel.

Parameter Definition

Parameter Purpose
Object Parameters Defines which objects (devices, sensors, doors, etc.) to report on.
Time Parameters Defines when the event occurred, setting date and time ranges.
Column Parameters Defines how results will be displayed in the final table.
Event Type Filtering Filters by specific event types (e.g., ALARM, RECOVERY).
Search Parameters Advanced forensic filters based on metadata (e.g., search by vehicle color).

TIP
The combination of these parameters allows you to go from millions of events to a reduced and relevant dataset in just a few clicks.

Visualization and Export

The right panel presents results in several views:

  • Events View → Chronological list of events.
  • State View → State change history.
  • Actions Execution View → Log of operator or system actions.

Export:
- Use the Export button to save results in formats like CSV or PDF.
- Ideal for external analysis or compliance archiving.

Uses Access Control events to identify:

  • First entry of the day.
  • Last exit of the day.
  • Total hours worked.

Expected Work Hours Define standard workday duration (e.g., 8 hours).

  • Employee Name → Full name.
  • Report Date → Record date.
  • Entry Date Time → First entry event.
