Reports Module¶
The Reports module is the business intelligence and audit suite of Netsocs Synergy.
It converts the platform's historical data into clear and actionable reports, enabling you to:
- Investigate incidents.
- Analyze trends.
- Audit operations.
- Generate compliance reports.

Unlike Dashboards, which focus on real-time data, reports are a tool for querying past information.
The module consists of two main tools:
- Dynamic Report Builder → For fully customized queries.
- Specialized Reports → Pre-formatted for specific business cases.

Dynamic Report Builder¶
The most flexible tool in the module.
Allows you to build a report from scratch by configuring parameters in the left panel.
Parameter Definition¶
| Parameter | Purpose |

| Object Parameters | Defines which objects (devices, sensors, doors, etc.) to report on. |
| Time Parameters | Defines when the event occurred, setting date and time ranges. |
| Column Parameters | Defines how results will be displayed in the final table. |
| Event Type Filtering | Filters by specific event types (e.g., ALARM, RECOVERY). |
| Search Parameters | Advanced forensic filters based on metadata (e.g., search by vehicle color). |

The combination of these parameters allows you to go from millions of events to a reduced and relevant dataset in just a few clicks.
Visualization and Export¶
The right panel presents results in several views:
- Events View → Chronological list of events.
- State View → State change history.
- Actions Execution View → Log of operator or system actions.
Export:
- Use the Export button to save results in formats like CSV or PDF.
- Ideal for external analysis or compliance archiving.
Employee Entry/Exit Report¶
Specialized report for automating attendance control and calculating worked hours.
Uses Access Control events to identify:
- First entry of the day.
- Last exit of the day.
- Total hours worked.
Report Configuration¶
| Parameter | Purpose |

| Date Range | Select the report period (day, week, month). |
| Expected Work Hours | Define standard workday duration (e.g., 8 hours). |
| Entry/Exit Events / Objects | Define which events or doors count as entry and which as exit. |
| Employees | Select which employees to include in the report. |

For greater accuracy, assign the main doors as entries and the official exit doors as exits.
Report Results¶
The final table presents:
- Employee ID → Employee identifier.
- Employee Name → Full name.
- Report Date → Record date.
- Entry Date Time → First entry event.
- Exit Date Time → Last exit event.
- All Entries / All Exits → All marks recorded during the day.
- Worked Hours → Total hours calculated between first entry and last exit.
Export¶
- Click
Export to CSV. - Generates a file ready to import into payroll or HR systems.

This report is ideal for automating hour calculations and reducing time spent on manual attendance reconciliation.
