#021 - Battery Failure

Objective

This test verifies the controller's event handling behavior in case of battery failure or other backup power failure.

Test Steps

1. Disconnect the backup power
2. Wait for disconnection detection
3. Reconnect the backup power
4. Wait for reconnection detection

Expected Result

• The zone state must be 'alarm_panel.state.energy_failure' after step 1.
• The zone state must be 'alarm_panel.state.energy_restored' after step 3.
• An event must be generated in the event log.
• The device audit log must have a new entry:

Energy failure on 'DEVICE'
Energy restored on 'DEVICE'

where:

• 'DEVICE' is the device name.
