#082 - Video Functions - Recording Download

Objective

This test verifies the controller's functionality that provides a standardized interface allowing storage of selected video recordings on a local client drive.

Test Steps

1. Start the endpoint.
2. On the chosen camera execute the "Show Recorded Video" command
3. Select the time to play the recorded video and press Start.
4. Execute the "Save Recording" command
5. Select the time to save the recorded video stream and press OK

Expected Result

• The recorded video stream is saved to the specified location on the local disk.
• This video can be played in some external player

Audit Log

• The following events are stored in the audit log:
  • 'PERSON' sent command 'Show Recorded Video' to 'DEVICE'.
  • 'PERSON' requested recording playback for 'DEVICE' during time 'TIME'.
  • 'PERSON' sent command 'Save Recorded Video' to 'DEVICE'.
  • 'PERSON' requested recorded video export for 'DEVICE' during time 'TIME1' to 'TIME2'

Where:

• PERSON represents the name of the person executing the command
• DEVICE represents the name of the camera from which the recorded video stream is requested
• TIME represents the specific date and time from which the recorded video stream is requested.
• TIME1 represents the initial date and time from which the recorded video stream is exported
• TIME2 represents the final date and time from which the recorded video stream is exported.
