Dashboards

The Dashboards module in Netsocs Synergy is your customizable operations center.
It allows you to create visual and dynamic Workspaces, assembled from a library of interactive Widgets.

Its goal is to consolidate the most relevant information for your role or task on a single screen: maps, live video, KPIs, sensors, and more, all in real time.
Instead of navigating through different modules, you can build a unified view that adapts to your needs.

Create and Manage Workspaces

A Workspace is the main container of your dashboard.
It is a saved configuration of one or more widgets arranged in a specific layout.
You can create multiple workspaces for different purposes:
- General monitoring.
- Fleet management.
- Alarm analysis.

Workspace Controls

The top toolbar offers global controls to manage your view:

Control Description
+ Add Adds a new slot to the current layout to incorporate more widgets.
Reset Clears the workspace, removing all widgets.
Save workspace Saves the current layout and configuration.
Full Screen Expands the dashboard to full screen, ideal for monitoring centers.

TIP
Always click Save workspace after organizing your widgets.
If you don't save changes, the layout will be lost when refreshing or exiting the page.

Layout Management

The platform offers flexibility to organize the workspace structure:
- 3-column grid templates, 2-column, mixed layouts.
- Allows adapting the visualization to the number and size of widgets.

Add and Configure Widgets

Widgets are the individual components that display information within your workspace.
Each widget visualizes a specific type of data (maps, sensors, video, KPIs, events, etc.).

Procedure to Add a Widget

  1. Locate an empty slot with the text + Select Widget.
  2. Click → the Widget Library opens.
  3. Use the search bar or explore the catalog.
  4. Click on the widget card you want (e.g., Live Video).
  5. The widget will be inserted into the selected slot.

Widget Configuration

Many widgets require additional configuration:
- Select which sensor to display.
- Choose which cameras to view.
- Adjust ranges or parameters.

Internal configuration is usually accessible via a gear icon or a menu within the widget.

The Netsocs Synergy widget library is extensive and versatile.
Below are some of the most commonly used:

Maps Displays an interactive map for real-time object tracking.
Sensor Line chart to analyze data variations and trends.
Gauge Visualizes a key metric (e.g., temperature, level) with customizable ranges and colors.
Live Video Grid to view live streams from one or more cameras.
KPI Configure and monitor key performance indicators.
Event Log Displays all events, alerts, and activities in real time.
Interactive Floor Plan Floor plan or synoptic with icons that react to real-time events.
Netsocs Insight Octopus Displays all data from an Octopus device: sensors, battery, location, and camera.
Quanergy Qortex LiDAR Visualizes real-time data from a LiDAR sensor, showing detected objects in 3D.
List of Objects List of devices or objects, with search and filtering options.
3D elements Interface for 3D data or product visualization.
